No Pressure. Just Guidance.
Real estate comes with pressure. My job is to help you make good decisions through it.
Start the conversation
I help people make decisions.
I'm Tim Marino, a Portland Realtor with Move Real Estate and a Montavilla neighbor. Most agents help people buy and sell homes. I help people make decisions.
I've been licensed in Oregon since 2016 and have helped more than 80 families buy and sell throughout the Portland metro.
I grew up in New Jersey, where telling people the truth directly is basically a love language. That carries into my work. I'll tell you what I know. I'll tell you what I don't know. And if something feels like a bad idea, I'll tell you that too.
I'd rather break your heart than your trust.
How I work.
Real estate comes with pressure. Preparation is what makes it manageable. My job is to provide clarity, identify risk, build a strategy, and help you make decisions you'll still feel good about later.
Provide clarity
You should understand what's happening and why.
Identify risk
Problems are easier to solve before they become expensive surprises.
Build a strategy
Price matters. Terms matter. Timing matters. Preparation matters.
Protect the decision
The goal isn't simply getting a house or getting one sold. The goal is making a decision you still feel good about after the excitement wears off.
Protect Your Offer.
Getting an offer accepted matters. Knowing what you agreed to matters more. We'll build the strategy before the right house appears, evaluate the risk, understand the seller and competition, and structure an offer that gives you a strong chance without giving away protections blindly.
Protect Your Sale.
Selling well starts before the listing hits the market. We'll prepare the home, position it correctly, build a pricing strategy, evaluate offers beyond the headline number, negotiate intelligently, and protect the transaction all the way to closing.
Never sold a home before?
Selling is a completely different process from buying. My free First-Time Seller Workshop covers what preparation matters, how pricing works, and what happens from listing day through closing.

Selling in Portland
I was nervous to get into the process of selling my home, but Tim made it a low stress experience. I like to know all the details, and he was available for my questions and made sure everything was handled in a timely manner. He went above and beyond to make the sale of my house a positive experience.
First-Time Buyer
From our very first home viewing to the final stages of closing, Tim brought clarity, professionalism, and genuine care to every step of the process. When it came time to enter a competitive bidding situation, his strategic advice and calm guidance helped me navigate the offer process without feeling overwhelmed or outmatched. He didn't just aim to close a deal, he aimed to find the right home for me.
Relocating to Portland
Tim was very attentive, going above and beyond to serve as our physical proxy while we were still states away. He was tactful and confident as we negotiated a lower price, and kind and considerate with our family through the final stages. We would very happily work with Tim again.
- 80+ families served
- 5-star reviews on Google + Zillow
- Licensed in Oregon since 2016
The move is the milestone.
Closing days, first porches, new keys, old keys handed over. These are the moments behind the paperwork. Real estate is a transaction on paper. For the people living it, it's usually something much bigger.
